I bought CleanX Pro and it is not unlocked
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. That asks the App Store for the purchase tied to your Apple Account and unlocks Pro again. It works on every device signed in to that account, at no extra cost. If it still does not unlock, write to us with the date of purchase and we will help.
What does the free version include?
Scanning, the storage dashboard and every detection are unlimited and always free. Free also includes your first 100 cleaned items, the first 3 AI review groups, 50 swiped photos, one saved cleanup session and one optimized video. CleanX Pro is a single payment that removes those limits for good. It is not a subscription and there is no trial to cancel.
Where did my deleted photos go?
CleanX asks Photos to delete them, so they land in Recently Deleted and stay recoverable there for up to 30 days. That also means storage is not freed the instant you delete: empty Recently Deleted in the Photos app to reclaim it immediately. If iCloud Photos is on, the deletion syncs to your other devices.
Why does CleanX want access to my whole library?
Duplicates and similar photos can only be found by comparing the library against itself, so full access finds more. Limited access works too: CleanX reviews just the photos you picked, and tells you it is doing so. You can change your mind at any time in the iOS Settings app.
The Intelligence tab says it cannot write in my language
The suggestion is written by Apple's on-device model, which supports a fixed list of languages. Arabic is not on it yet. When your language is not supported CleanX works out a starting point itself from your category counts, and says so plainly rather than answering you in English.
Does CleanX upload my photos?
No. Analysis runs on your device and CleanX makes no network request of its own. The privacy policy spells out exactly what is stored and where.
A scan on a large library is slow
The first scan measures and analyzes every item, which takes longest on a big library. Results are cached, so later scans only look at what changed. You can leave the app while a scan runs; CleanX keeps going for as long as iOS allows and tells you when it finishes.
Reporting something sensitive
If you believe CleanX removed something it should not have, or you have found a security issue, put SECURITY or DATA LOSS in the subject line and we will treat it first. Please do not include photos or personal files in the message.
